Toys that inspire joy, imagination, and giving.
Family owned and operated, Edenfield Toys was founded by Christine Berg through the inspiration of her children and the family’s desire to provide good gifts for their community. Many toys found in the shop are long-time favorites of her children, who have been active participants in selecting toys they think will bring joy to others.
Our Philosophy
At Edenfield Toys, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder. We carefully curate toys that spark imagination, encourage meaningful play, and become part of the stories families tell for years to come. Whether it's building a woodland village, caring for a beloved doll, or creating imaginary worlds, we hope every toy invites children to slow down, explore, and delight in being kids.
Nurturing Bodies, Minds, and Imaginations
Children learn best through play. Every toy in our collection is selected not only for its beauty and craftsmanship but also for the opportunities it creates for learning and development.
Building sets strengthen fine motor skills and spatial reasoning. Puzzles encourage perseverance and problem-solving. Pretend play develops language, empathy, and creativity. Together, these experiences help children grow while offering a welcome break from screens and encouraging hands-on exploration.
Owner Christine Berg brings together a background in both education and art. She holds a Master's in Education and spent more than a decade serving as a teacher and school administrator before opening Edenfield Toys. Her background as a professional fine artist includes commissioned artwork for Ralph Lauren, where her pen-and-ink equestrian drawings and fashion illustrations were featured in retail displays nationwide. Together, these experiences have shaped Edenfield's appreciation for timeless design, thoughtful craftsmanship, and toys that are as beautiful as they are meaningful.
The Beauty of Open-Ended Play
We love toys that leave room for a child's imagination.
Unlike toys that entertain for a moment and tell children exactly what to do, open-ended toys become whatever a child needs them to be—a castle today, a ship tomorrow, a woodland home for tiny animal friends, or an adventure that exists nowhere else but in their imagination. They encourage creativity, independent thinking, storytelling, and joyful discovery with every play session.
Natural Materials
Whenever possible, we choose toys made from natural materials by independent makers who value craftsmanship, sustainability, and ethical production.
Wood, wool, cotton, and other natural materials provide a warmth and sensory richness that synthetic materials rarely match. They invite children to engage with the world through touch while creating toys that are durable enough to be loved, shared, and passed down to the next generation.
We believe the toys children live with every day should be beautiful as well as purposeful. Thoughtfully designed toys become part of the home, inviting children back to play again and again while bringing warmth and timeless character to the spaces families share.
At Edenfield Toys, we believe joyful, imagination-filled play shapes not only childhood but the people children become. We invite you to explore our carefully curated collection and discover toys that inspire wonder, encourage creativity, and become part of the stories your family tells for years to come.
